Love And Other Remedies

Jamie Randall is a young man skilled with women and with words. Relentless seducer and unemployed, having known too hard the wife of his boss, Jamie starts from the pharmaceutical and becomes scientific information for Pfizer. Posted in the northeastern United States to "sell" antidepressants, Prozac and doubling the beat competition, Mr. Randall flatters and seduces medical secretaries, manifesting itself within a short time, so much action and great charm, the number one seller. Day-dreaming to leave Ohio to fly with a promotion in Chicago, Jamie stumbles into Maggie, bohemian artist suffering from Alzheimer's Parkinson's first stage. Greedy sex but refractory to stable relationships and feelings, Jamie and Maggie become passionate lovers. Love, despite themselves, tried to resist and resist the temptation to love one another.
The eternal law of commdia sentimental, matured in the 30 states that the distance and the bodies are sacred mystery of the space that the aspiration to go. Certainly something has changed over time and if some Hollywood romantic comedies insist on recycling the norm of the sex that goes disguised allusions, Edward Zwick, director I like a lot, deserted with ease things. By the time the play and into a comedy, that comedy is not at all, the American consumer embraces its characters rushing in, finding the sheets every secret of the heart. And the heart is bet and place of love and other remedies. The erotic energy needed to support the tireless sexual performance, two actors embody the beautiful and talented, in my opinion, Jake and Anne Hathaway Gillenhaall, already unhappy couple in Ang Lee film Brokeback Mountain ... their characters spent a lead in the comedy melodrama. Their bodies and their funds in a sensual and joyful, embodies two other unfortunate souls, lost in melancholy and desire to love despite the degenerative disease. In this film, Zwick daring shades, variants and implicit, finding moments of inspired delicacy, combining the log with the romantic comedy. Love and Other Remedies, exhibits and fun feeling lascivious America "powerless" of the 90s, which corrected the exaggerated Puritanism, experienced orgasms in the lab and ran towards the revolutionary discovery of Viagra ... the years in which Pfizer produced in "blue pills" the American dream. A film that I loved because it made me laugh so much and I also made the move to the final. A film that might seem obvious, but it is not, that has all the characters in the right place, right scenarios and a couple of exceptional players. Straconsiglio!
